iTransfr is proud to announce that we have officially obtained Money Services Business (MSB) registrations with the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

These approvals allow us to operate as a licensed money transmitter in the state of Montana and provide regulated payment services across global markets.

This milestone strengthens our position as a leading provider of compliant payment infrastructure for high-volume businesses, importers, exporters, fintech platforms, and marketplaces worldwide.

What This Means in the United States

With our FinCEN MSB registration in the U.S., iTransfr is authorized to:

  • Operate as a money transmitter in Montana
  • Facilitate payments within and outside of the United States
  • Support cross-border and domestic fiat settlements
  • Maintain strict compliance with AML/KYC, sanctions screening, and real-time transaction monitoring requirements

This ensures that U.S.-based businesses using iTransfr can move funds confidently, knowing they are working with a regulated, transparent, and fully compliant financial partner.

Expanding International Reach with Saint Kitts and Nevis Registration

In addition to our U.S. license, iTransfr has also secured a second MSB registration with FinCEN through our Saint Kitts and Nevis entity.

This strategic registration allows us to:

  • Offer international payment and settlement services across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support cross-border transactions for global businesses
  • Operate under one of the Caribbean's most trusted financial regulatory regimes
  • Provide bankruptcy-remote, regulated custody for client funds through strong local governance

This dual licensing framework gives us the flexibility to facilitate complex cross-border flows that many single-jurisdiction payment providers cannot manage.

Why This Matters for Businesses

For our clients, these registrations mean more than just regulatory approvals. They are a clear signal of credibility, capability, and compliance.

Businesses that choose iTransfr can expect:

  • Regulated operations in multiple jurisdictions for broader coverage and trust
  • Ability to move USD and major currencies through both domestic and cross-border payment rails
  • Faster settlements, with the ability to complete many transactions in under 15 minutes
  • Customizable APIs and orchestration tools for fintechs, marketplaces, and high-volume corporate payments
  • Enhanced banking relationships built on our transparent compliance stack

Our Vision for Global Payments

Obtaining MSB registrations in both the United States and Saint Kitts and Nevis is part of our broader mission to simplify global payments while meeting the highest regulatory standards.

We are building the infrastructure layer for instant, compliant settlement globally, enabling businesses to focus on growth instead of payment bottlenecks.

With these regulatory milestones achieved, iTransfr is expanding its U.S. and international corridor coverage, onboarding new enterprise clients, and enhancing our FX, OTC, and local payment rail offerings.
